somehow i got caught up in other people fawning over the dress and never spoke up, just cried, secretly. I’m away from my mom and best girlfriends and trying to shop with co workers and such and just got sucked into buying a dress i didn’t really love. silly how the dress isnt supposed to matter all that much (or to me, so i thought) but it just put a damper on everything. when u dont feel sexy or beautiful it’s hard to get excited…
that said i have a brand new dress I need to sell to a beautiful bride to be so they can enjoy it and be excited and feel sexy. its a gorgeous dress, it just wasnt for me.
I posted it here and on oncewed but havent gotten any bites. I’m kinda freaking because it wasnt cheap…any ideas of where else I can post? ah wedding planning!!!!

@bellalace: ((Hugs)) I totally understand how easy it is to be carried away by everyone else’s excitement. Have you tried local consignment shops? There’s also PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com. Good luck!

Same thing happened to me. There is also tradsey.com, eBay and Craigslist.

Craigslist can be a great way to sell locally.

@bellalace: I sold mine on craigslist….but it took awhile and I actually took payments on it because she couldn’t afford the entire amount upfront but wanted it. It worked out though, but it was a huge PITB.
GL!! 🙂 You have a pic of the one your selling?

Keep in mind how hard it is to find “the one”, perfect dress – and then reverse the situation… you have somebody’s perfect dress and need to find that bride in that size ready to buy that dress.
I posted my dress on preownedweddingdress.com and it sold in about 30 days. I did however, significantly discount the price of the dress. It was preowned/worn, but you are competing for the same buyers – ones who are looking for discounted gowns online versus ones who will pay full price at a store.
Hope you get it sold!! Good luck!
