Is it an option for you to not buy online? You can still buy dresses off the rack from sample sales. Or you can even still go to a bridal consignment store.

I wouldn’t worry.  When I ordered my dress from Duosheung it actually came a week early.  I would make sure to find a US seamstress ready to handle bustling or any other details that you would like to fix or change.

If you want to go the Sample Dress, check out preownedweddingdresses.com.  I purchased my Badgley girl from Mydreamdress.com.  I was literally poured into my dress.  That’s how perfect it was for me.

Good Luck!!!!

Yep, you can go into a salon and just ask if they are selling any of there samples.  I did this and I took my dress home to day I chose it.  When a designer comes out with a new line of dresses the stores get rid of the samples of the old line so you can buy the samples.  It’s cheaper and faster.  The only thing it is the store needs to have the dress in your size (or within alterable size).  And you can just look up consignment stores for your area online.  It’s pre-worn dresses.  You can also look online at recycledbride pre-owned wedding dresses for people selling their dresses.

I have plenty of time before my wedding but i also choose to buy my dress from an online website, (forherandforhim.com), they have some pretty dresses in their 2012 spring collection. I put below a picture of the dress i am going to buy, they promise the dress can be finished within 45 days.

Hi, all the chinese factories close for chinese new year. But they will say how long the product takes and my experience with one chinese factory is that they always stick with it. So if they say it will get there on time I expect it will, however it does not leave much time if you need some alterations.

@adnama: This happened to me too. I wasn’t planning on it either! I was getting ready to order but was told they are selling the sample and after a lot of consideration I went with the sample because it was in perfect condition and ordering the dress would have costed me $5000 without my sash or alterations! So look into it!
