I still think you try the dropped waist style we talked about 😀 Also I agree perhaps this is a sign in disguise that you will find something better.

Mori Lee does have a really similar gown (probably for way less as well that maybe worth trying)

blt982:  Get the same dress, especially if you won’t even be at the same wedding. Chances are 95% of your overlapping guests won’t even recognize it. If this girl wants to be petty about a wedding dress (which more than likely 1000 other girls and women have purchased or will be purchasing) she should have gotten a 100% custom gown. I know you want to feel special in it, and you will. You’re free to keep looking, using this dress as a guide, but I think you’ve found a gorgeous gown and I wouldn’t walk away from it. If it were me, I’d still purchase the dress. Maybe if my sister, cousin, or best friend bought it I’d search for something else, but ex-friend who isn’t attending my wedding and whose wedding I’m not attending? Forget it, that dress would be purchased.

blt982:  I have that same dress. I got mine in the Ivory. Did she get the same color as you wanted? There are a lot of allure dresses I like but the pics of the stella and mori lee are pretty too, but I wouldn’t worry about it. Its your day. With the Veil and accessories I am sure they will look different. For what its worth I really like the Allure 2607 it is really similar to a Lazaro dress that I was drooling over, but decided I am a big busted girl and really didn’t want strapless. I am sure you can find something perfect for you

If Yall aren’t friends anymore, how do you know what dress she bought?

I don’t see why you can’t wear the same dress if you’re not close with this person, but if you’re looking for something similar, I ordered Allure 9103 which has a similar feel to this dress.

Unless you get a custom dress, there will always be someone else wearing your dress. It will still be different depending on how you style it! Bottom line is, you look amazing in that dress, go for it! 🙂

blt982:  That dress is gorgeous.

You said it’s your dream dress – YOU HAVE TO GET IT.   Fuck that girl.  A complex with people copying?  Then send her an email and set her straight (well, nicely explain) if you feel you have to. Which you don’t.

SRSLY – don’t pass on your dress because someone else now owns it.   It’s a dress – hundreds of other girls out there have it too.

blt982:  Buy whatever dress you want – how would the girl possibly know what dress you have since she won’t be invited to your wedding? This is silly. Get what you want.

I love San Patrick! The dress I want is by SP 😀

I would say if you really like them in photos a trip is worth it, it’s not like you shop for a wedding dress everyday.

Also might wanna try these…

Wtoo ‘Bellavista’

I know this is a little different but in theory it’s very similar to the original dress you like. We just got it in the shop I work at and it’s SO PRETTY!

Jasmine Bridal F171012

Again a little different but the color, feel, and shilouette are similar to the original. Plus the back is awesome with the sheer panel.

This happened to me.  She was one of my best friends and we ended up with the same dress.  She went to my wedding and her wedding was a year later but she still didn’t realize it or didn’t care.  40 years and 2 divorces later (one for me and one for her), we are still friends and I never said anything to her about it but geez. You do have eyes don’t you?  I guess I’m just more observant.
