Okay, I love my dress, especially now that I added a little bit of lace to sweetheart neckline. That was the only part I didn’t like, because I thought it looked too low for my petite stature. I go and look at my dress all the time now that it’s home and even pull it out and try it on sometimes when Jim isn’t home.
However, I look at all the pictures of the gowns other Bees have gotten, and sometimes I do feel a little dress envy. I’ll think, “oh, that’s soooo pretty” or “oh, I should have looked longer.”
I never ever have doubts when I look at my dress or when I try it on, but I do when I look at all of you in your gowns or pictures of the gowns you’ve select.
Does anyone else get dress envy looking at the dress on here even though you love your own dress? Or am I the only one?

I am right there with you, girlie! Trust me, happens all the time. But that is because there are so many dresses that are uniquely gorgeous and rarely do you ever see a full-on ugly dress. I get doubts about my dress all the time, especially since I didn’t really try looking all the hard and ended up ordering something pretty inexpensive online. However, I just have to keep reassuring myself that my dress is great too, and that on the day of my wedding, I’ll feel great in it. And I’m sure yours is fabulous too! In the meantime, I say there is nothing wrong with looking though 🙂 LOL.

Oh yes girl! I LOVED my gown…but you will even have dress envy after your wedding! Wedding dresses are just gorgeous!

Honestly I generally don’t have dress envy because there were dresses I thought I would love, but once I put them on I didn’t. So I know that if I like a dress it probably wont fit the way I think it will. I love my dress so much and the way it fits so it is perfect for me.
Just try to remember that you may love the way it looks on the model or on another bride, but it would be different on you!

I’m glad I’m not the only one! Everyone always looks so beautiful in their dresses, and there are so many different ones that it is hard not to feel dress envy.
I love the style and look of mine. Maybe if I had a picture of myself wearing it, maybe then I wouldn’t feel this way sometimes.

I sometimes get that too….and the other thing happens is when you see those posts where all the dress twins post themselves wearing the same dress. On one hand, i love to my dress on other people and its fun to bond that way, but sometimes when i see like 6 pics in a row, i feel it becomes less special and unique.
Does anyone else feel that way too?

YEAH DEFINETLY! It was looking on here that gave me doubts about the first dress I tried on and loved, so i’m going shopping this Saturday to either find another one or i’ll know the first one is the one.

@Sassy5412: I totally feel that way! At first, I was bummed b/c I have only found 1 or 2 people that have the same dress as me on here, and that’s it! Yes, I want to see how other people look in the dress, but I also like knowing that not as many people have my dress, so I think it makes it more unique 🙂

@Sassy5412: I haven’t found a lot of people who chose my dress–maybe one or two. But I think I would totally feel that way if I saw 5 or 6 people. On the other hand, if I couldn’t find anyone who was wearing the same dress, I would start to wonder what’s wrong with my dress that no one else picked it. LOL! Talk about flip-flopping!!!

@CatyLady: I think it’s a good idea to continue shopping if you are unsure about the first dress.
I keep reading about people who buy one dress and then have second thoughts so they go out and buy another. I get a little envious of them, because that wasn’t an option for me. I knew once I bought my dress that that was it, I couldn’t change my mind and get another.
