(Closed) Dress fittng fail!

so sorry that sounds like terrible customer service.  I think you’re right to say something you don’t want to be uncomfortable on your wedding day.  I would call the store, speak to the manager and tell them your concerns, I’d also request that the rude assistant doesn’t deal with you when you go back in.

It’s hard to tell without a photo but I don’t think I’d be very happy either x

I have my first fitting in a few weeks and this is my worst nightmare. Really hope they fix it right!

As a dress twin (Cool), I know how tricky the alterations can be on our dress.  That is NOT cool how the alterations specialist treated you.  Did you get it done at David’s Bridal?  I ended up going to a private individual so I could change the shape of the neckline, and I am happy I did. 

 

I’m not sure what you could do about it being too tight, but I am sure the extra definition around the hips looks really good!  I thought about taking it in as well there, but I love to dance, so I wanted to make sure the dress did not get so tight that I couldn’t bust a move! 

 

The belt should be easy for them to fix, because it is only tacked down on the sides (if I remember correctly).  Maybe you could even adjust it yourself if you feel brave enough, or use dress tape on the belt and the dress to hold it straight.

 

I am also having the pleats on the bodice tacked down because they do stretch out and get baggy with wear.  I can’t believe they are waiting until so close to the wedding! 

 

I am also waiting to pick my dress up from alterations, and I will get it back the week before the wedding.
