I like the last one and the polka dot the best.  They look classier than the first two.   Honestly, I’m really sad and hurt for you that you’re not in the wedding.  I obviously have no idea about your relationship with your sister, but she doesn’t include you in her wedding party and then tries to dictate the color you should wear, likely knowing you hate wearing that color and it’s not “you”?  I would wear what you’re comfortable in, even if it means not wearing pink.

Really dislike the first one. But the other three are cute and totally my style as well.

I am just curious though, why in the world would she want you to wear pink if you are not in the wedding? I’d say screw it and wear the red (though I voted for dress 3).

I think the 4th is the most apporpirate. I really like the white and polka dot but i would avoid white in this case and go red! i love that red dress.

Honestly I’m not really a fan of any of them.

I don’t like 1, neither the style nore the color.

2-4 all seem too poufy for a dress for a wedding guest.

Why has she asked you to wear pink? It seems strange she’d ask you to wear a specific color when you aren’t in the wedding party.

    Here are some other ideas:

I don’t think any of them could also be used for a wearing to work dress afterwards. I’d keep looking.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  Meh, unless you are doing a reading, ushering, manning the guest book… I dont see why you should have to wear a certain color. I think the polk-a-dot one is cute and pink enough.

I don’t really like any of them… but #4 is the best. I think you should keep looking. Prom season will be over soon and I’m sure there will be a lot of dresses to pick from then on the sales racks.

If she wants you to wear pink I think you should wear pink. Brides are always on this site b*tching about how their sisters are making their lives difficult. I’m sorry she hurt you by not making you a bm but buying something in red will come off as spiteful. I think the styles of the 3 & 4 dresses are super cute.

@PinkMagnolia:  Good call on prom season

@hiroshymatetrastar:  Honestly, seems a little condescending.  She didn’t think enough of your relationship to include you in her wedding party, though she’s in yours, and then has the nerve to try to dictate the color you wear (when it’s a color you hate wearing??).  I would do what’s best for you…buy a dress you feel good and comofrotable and pretty in, in a color you’ll wear again.  I’m can just be really bitter and bitchy about crap like that, you’re a better person than me…If I had a sister and she did this to me I’d not for one second consider what she “wanted” me to do.
