Jonathan Simkhai uses a lot of bustier elements in his dresses, which are usually in the $225 range when on sale (sometimes less like the $168 silver dress below). Some examples…

@bunny0401:  Thanks! I will PM you links just in case you wanted to see/find any of them. I had tried to post them, but they didn’t come out right… I think there is a glitch in the system. I am not affliliated with any of the shops/brands and have not tried any of them so I can’t speak to the quality either, but they do all have more pics. 🙂

Ill be honest im suprised it by love and lemons, it looks cheap at the bottom.. like rags..

I love the top part it looks amazing on you

This is too much for rehearsal dress and im by no means conservative but this will bring the wrong kind of attention..

@franklymydearidont:  thanks! I love the red, but the two black ones have a nice Halloween vibe without being too over the top.

I absolutely adore the last dress you posted – the black one with the netting. But then I saw the designer. D&G are cancelled forever in my book.

There’s one scenario that I feel this could work in – Make your rehearsal dinner a costume party and turn it into a moulin rouge-esque getup with a shawl and cool headdress. (Even still I’d be a little afraid that I’d wind up with a boob out in front of my in laws, or grandparents that couldn’t look me in the eye)

Alternatively – Get it for yourself as a wedding present and wear it for halloween next year. You look hot af in it, and if you’re looking for an excuse to buy it, you can make one up.

@bunny0401:  I love this dress for Halloween season! It’s perfect. I think that lining the bodice would make the look a bit more cohesive and appropriate for a rehearsal dinner (assuming your rehearsal dinner is in a nice restaurant or something like that), but if this look suits your personality and is in line with how you normally dress, I highly doubt any of your guests will be scandalized. It still covers all the “essentials”.
