Layne Bryant has some really nice plus sized dresses. I want something that’s not black though, so I’ll be looking elsewhere πŸ™‚

I love Torrid for all different types of dresses… Torrid has casual dresses all the way to cocktail dresses.

There’s several with great dresses – Torrid, Lane Bryant, Dress Barn, and Maurices are several that I really like and have stuff from and I wear about a size 24 normally.

Depends on your personal style…but I’ve got some suggestions that should cover a range of options. πŸ™‚

Coldwater Creek and Chadwick’s are both to the more conservative side — but a lot of their stuff is still really pretty. The Pyramid Collection has a really wide range of dresses — some are way too sexy or hippie-dippie, but there are also a lot that are just plain pretty. (I just wore this to a friend’s wedding — so comfy and flattering too!) Finally, IGIGI has some really gorgeous dresses for plus-sized ladies — and because a pear-shaped 18 like me is different than an hourglass 18, they make sure to specify which dresses will flatter which body types.

I hope you find something that you like! A lot of these places seem to have Labor Day sales going on — maybe you can even get a good deal, too. πŸ™‚

Here’s a cute one at Kohls.  They have a lot of cute dresses. Torrids is a favorite too!
