Hey bees!
I found a dress that I love by Paloma Blanca, but it is discontinued. They said they could have it recut but it would be $350 extra plus I want to do sweetheart on it and still need alterations so it totals close to $2,300, which for some of you is probably within budget, but for me it is completely out of range. By The Way, the dress didn’t fit if you are wondering why I didn’t buy the one I have on below…it was a bit tighter than I’d like. Here is the dress:

I would like to get something similar but for under $1500. I love a lace top with beading or a nice broach, doesn’t have to be strapless but if so I love sweetheart necklines. Not too poofy, not too tight. Simple yet elegant type thing. Any suggestions bees? Have you seen any dresses similar to this? I have tried on so many gowns, and I know I still have plenty of time, but for me the dress is my inspiration that kind of set the tone of the wedding. I have several styles that I love, so the tone of the wedding can very well change depending on the dress purchase.
I just want you bees input, advice and suggestions! THANK YOU! π

the original dress didn’t post, but it sounds like you could be a watters bride with the simple details you’re describing…

Here is a picture of my dress, it is a Mori Lee but I don’t have the style number. I can find it for you if you want! You said strapless, lace top, broach? Hope this helps you decide on something!

@mmm31911 Yay, maybe I should go into bridal consulting… although I think Audiology pays better. Those are the two I thought you’d like the most. Give ’em a try!
@rosychicklet makes a really good point- you can always look for a used/consigned gown. I definitely tried, but mine wound up being only 200-300$ more for a brand new petite gown in my fun ivory/champagne/gold colour.

I *almost* got this one, and it’s immediately what I thought of! It was less than $1000.
