How low is the back of your dress? I wore a lower backed dress, and bought some bra strap extenders at a department store. They look like a long bra strap, and you attach one to each end of your normal bra, and then adjust them to go low on your back, and then they wrap around to the front and hook like a bra.  I think they were 9 dollars!

Also, have you talked about maybe getting cups sewn into your dress?  If you have a structured dress, this is probably the best way to go.

Ditto. I would have something built into your dress so you are supportive and not all flopping around feeling naked! I hear ya on that one. I feel super weird without a bra on. I hate it! Be grateful you’re only a D and can actually get away with a low back bra! If the built in cups sitll dont’ feel like they cover enough you could use petals so you don’t nip through dependign on how thick your dress is. Good luck! I’m feeling your pain!
