The sample has been worn and tried on a lot, which causes it to fluff. That looks like a substantial difference, though. I’d ask the salon about the difference. Worst comes to worse, yes, you can fix it with a petticoat and it will be the same. Good luck!

Mine looks similar, and I will be wearing a hoop skirt (one that DOESN’T pop up when I sit!) in order to get the poof I want.  You may need to do the same.

Petticoat or hoop skirt will make it tons better! You look GORGEOUS btw!

look up ella86 in the search. Her dress journey will help! She also has a tulle ball gown and struggled a bit with poof factor. 😀

i really like it both with the poof and without, but a petticoat will definitely help the poof factor 🙂 definitely talk to the salon about the issue, maybe they can do something to help it

I really love the sweetheart change to your dress! It would look great with a petticoat under!

@Mrs.Davis914:

my seamstress told me that when you hem tulle it gets even poofier bc it is so weightfree. So I got a small and a large petticoat to choose between.

I think you’ll get the look you want by just adding a crinoline. It made a huge difference with my dress!
