I think the fit and flare flatters you more. I would be worried about the pleating creating too much poof on your frame.

I agree that the fit-n-flare flatters the OP’s figure more, or a dropped-waist ballgown.

Any dress you buy will go through alterations to fit you.  I had to try on a sample that was one size small for the dress I bought, and I didn’t get the “SYTTD moment” in it because I knew it didn’t fit right.  But I know once the right size comes in and it’s tailored to my figure it will be perfect for me.

Maybe something like one of these?

Edited to add: Also, have you checked out the most recent Brides’ magazine?  There’s an article about the most flattering dress style this month.

I really like the Mori Lee on you. It’s a beautiful dress, and it looks great on you.

I can’t read the captions on the pictures, but the bottom left curve hugging dress is PHENOMENAL and makes your body look AMAZING. If you want to go for which dress looks best on you, that’s the one ๐Ÿ™‚ I know some people care more about which dress looks best itself, but I’m a firm believer that the best looking dress is the one that makes YOU look best! ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the fit and flare gown, it looks stunning! I feel like the other dresses add too much bulk.

I’m in love with the Snow White dress.  Mori Lee is my second choice.  I think those dresses look the most flattering on you, and they’re just prettier overall in my opinion.  Good luck choosing!
