@MlleFabuleux:  + 1 (surprise, surprise)

I like the strap, I think it adds a point of difference to an otherwise fairly generic dress. I’m not a fan of shiny satin or ruching, so the dress is not for me. But, as others have said, your figure looks great in it!

@Mrszeng:  If you aren’t comfortable with the fluffiness of the strap, then by all means, reduce it. But if you love it, I think you should keep it as-is. Slimming the strap/removing some fluff might actually make the strap too anemic-looking compared to the pizzazz of the gown.

@peonyinparis:  Essentially, my dear, you have a fabulous sense of style Cool

*half-joking (but not about your sense of style)

You have a really great figure but the dress seems to be distracting away from it. I think it would be much better without the shoulder strap!

I think it looks AMAZING on you! I like how its different and it looks beautiful on you! No need for regret…….you will find on here a lot of bees will say ” it’s not my taste” but don’t worry too much about that b/c everyone has different taste.I actually like the strap…….. without the strap it would look like all the other dresses but this makes it unique!

The only thing that matters is that it looks BEAUTIFUL on you!!!

I like it, but if you’re concerned can you have the ruffles on the shoulder strap taken off? I think that may make a world of difference to simplify the dress. It is extremely flattering on you though, so you could probably put a huge red flower in the middle and still look amazing!!

it looks totally gorgeous on you! i personally don’t love the shoulder strap, but if you do that’s really all that matters. if you don’t, i think they could pretty easily alter it. the first thing i noticed about the dress was that your body looks amazing, the second thing i noticed was the shoulder strap. and then i went back to being impressed by your body lol.
