soontobee12 :  Could you take another photo? That isn’t a helpful angel right at your crotch area. From down here it looks like the seam is cutting into your underbust so I’m not sure if it’s fitting right. I think heming the dress shorter? I think a lot of dresses that look frumpy aren’t fitting correctly. This one has a high waistline. Have you thought about renting a dress? http://www.renttherunway.com ?

soontobee12 :  I don’t think a belt is the answer.  Your dress gives a very sweet vibe, and a good alternative would be to “toughen” it up a bit, without being extreme.  I suggest the following:

Platform sandals from Asos:

cuff bracelet from Carnet de Mode:

an ear cuff (and a simple stud earring on the other ear):

For your hair, I would suggest either a very straight, loose hairstyle or a simple and sleek updo.

soontobee12 :  I think it’s a pretty dress. I would get a headpiece and beautiful shoes, beautiful jewelry.

My vote is for a cool pair of vintage inspired heels!

A good bra and belt, maybe blingy or pearls & flowers.

I think some big shiny jewelry and heels would help a lot.

How about a super elegant blazer or little bride ‘jacket’ that winter brides wear? Something over the shoulders  would look lovely

soontobee12 :  I have a real quick solution to this problem.  Don’t take a photo of it from below.  Adriana Lima looks frumpy from that angle girl, you’re gonna look great.

I’d opt fora pair of shiny lipstick pink pumps. Not possible to feel frumy wearing those and I’d go with a pink bouqet to match. I honestly would not mess with the dress. It’s great.

That camera angle is awful! Looks good to me! Accessories, push up bra and confidence and you’re good to go
