First off I love your dress! My sister was having the same issue ( and the bottom of her dress looks just like yours!) . We priced out having more ‘bling’ sewn/glued onto the skirt, just here and there and it was going to cost an extra $300! So we ended up ordering crystals online and gluing them on ourselves all over the skirt and it turned out amazing! No one even knew and kept saying how amazing it looked and asked where she got a dress like that at.

Let me see if i can dig up pictures! She had it hemmed on the bottom so i took some of the extra fabric and was practicing with different glues. We ended up using Liquid Stitch (orginal one) that i bought at Joanns. Out of everything we tried this worked the best/dried clear/looked seamless. We just used a toothpick and used just a dot. If you dont have any fabric left over from hemming just stop by the fabric store pick up something close and practice. The nice thing is , is if your practice run turns out good you can reuse the bling, just cut around them on your practice piece and reglue.

You said it’s not big enough. Do you mean the skirt? Could you wear a hoop skirt under it or would your dress be to short then?

I think it’s gorgeous and really striking! In addition to gluing some bling to the skirt, maybe some super blingy accessories will give you the bling you want? Post pics of your final look!

@jennabug:  I think a blingy necklace, earrings, bracelet and veil will give you the sparkle you’re looking for.

I think it’s plenty blingy as it is! When you add your shoes, accessories (you could do a blingy hair accessory or a crystal-edged veil) it will all come together.
