    It looks more 1910’s than 1920’s to me. A more authentically-inspired (lol) 1920’s gown would have no defined waist and would be just short enough to show your shoes.

    Not especially on-trend for 2015, honestly. If you love your dress, rock the hell out of it–it’s your wedding, not a historical reenactment!

    I love that dress! But the waistline, sleeves, length, detailing, etc., strike me as more 30s than early 20’s.

    Have you looked at Sue Wong? Her dresses are more Gatsby and some can be found under $600.:

    Danilynne:  Yes, that would be a good place to get Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses 🙂 I got a Jenny Packham Leila dress. Got my fitting in two weeks, very excited!
