lana1709:  Great news that you should be able to try the ‘dream dress’ on soon!

Yes frothy and romantic was my long-time love. I promise you, if you track down the Allure, you may well be wowed! It swished around and gives a gorgeous princessy feel.

    Keep us updated! 🙂

lana1709:  that’s nuts! An Australian designer, and they don’t have one of their own dresses in their own country? Huh?

But good luck on the Allure.

lana1709:  I just got goosebumps when I read that! I’m so excited for you to be able to see and try the Allure – I hope you ge the feeling I did in it!

Such a shame about the Stella, but so long as you find a dress you love that is the main thing.

I can’t wait to see pics of the Allure. If you google it their ar a couple of videos of it. Here’s one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYov74-UHaI

If you tried on similar styles and you love them…go for it! Maybe a bee can try it on for you? I thought about seeking a bee with similar size as me to try on a dress I coundnt find near. I ended up biting the bullet and buying the dream dress online without trying it on.  Not here yet so we will see how it ends up!

I almost bought that casablanca dress! It was very lovely but to me just looked like something that I’ve seen over and over. I love the first dress. It is so lovely.

I did not read everyones comments yet but have you asked about getting a sample of the dress you want shipped to a local store? A lot of designers do that… I am doing that because the dress I want is from 2008 and while they still make it for brides, the stores obviously do not carry it, so Casablanca is sending it to my local store.

I have to pay for the shipping but if I buy it or any dress, the store takes the shipping cost off my dress. Might be worth asking! I contacted Casablanca directly, so I would do the same with your designer. After I found out it could be done, I worked with my local store. I will be trying on my “dream dress” in January (I made it that far out so I could lose some more weight…hehe) but normally they can get a sample to you in a couple of weeks.

lana1709:  Oh I am so pleased and excited for you!!!

I’ve been checking in on this post to see if there was an update and I must admit to shedding a little tear when I read your update. I love hearing when people fall in love with their gown and I’m even more happy because I know how gorgeous that dress is and I’m pleased my suggestion was useful 🙂

What date do you get married? I’m a May bride too…. 6mths today for me!
