URGENT ALERT! VOTE COUNT IS INCORRECT! I meant to vote satin but fat fingered lace 😁
They’re both beautiful dresses and you will look lovely in either, but I adore the satin. It is classic and romantic and just strikes me as special.

I always prefer lace bc that’s what I chose for myself, but that satin one looks AMAZING on you.

denverbee : I love both on you, but on the lace dress, I would end the corset just below the small of your back so it’s not appearing to cinch up your bum crack. I could definitely see the first jazzed up with sparkly straps and maybe a matching thin belt. Your figure is gorgeous in either one. If it were me, I’m all about comfort, so I would probably lean toward the first one.

Both look great! I like the satin one more minus the neckline. So therefore, voted for the lace. You can’t go wrong either way!

Oh man, so it’s about 50/50. Not quite as helpful as I thought the poll would be, haha. Ultimately I think that the lace one, while it looks great on my body, is a bit too country for a downtown city wedding and I agree about hating long corset backs. They remind me of cheap lingerie. The conclusion, I think, is to keep searching for a satin gown that needs less changes to be what I want. If I can’t find something reasonably priced though I’ll go back to the shop and try to negotiate the price of the satin dress down.
What shape would you call the lace one? Mermaid? Trumpet? It’s nice to know so that I can tell sales people in the future.
The shop is called The Altar Bridal, but they’re not online unfortunately.
