I got this dress couple months ago at a sample sale (basically in perfect condition) Tell me what you think, I was of changing it into a a little bit more of a sweetheart neckline, and i was thinking of adding a sash to it but have no clue what style would look good. Has anyone changed their dress into a sweetheart and how did it come out. This first pic is in the store and second one is the back I was showing off it to the grandparents. (ignore the fat and dress pulling ive lost about 10 lbs since)

I haven’t done it (I don’t even have a dress yet!), but I’ve seen lots of pic of it done on the Bee, and it usually looks great. I think a sweetheart would work well on your dress, even if just a slight one 🙂

I think a sweetheart neckline would look beautiful. It would add interest to the dress and compliment your shape very well too!

I kinda figured out how to use paint and made it sweetheart neckline which I love! Heres the picture, but now I dont know where to even start for right sash type, what do you think??

A satin sash with beading would look great I think

you know what would be amazing? to “V” the top of the back of the dress… it comes up kinda high, so there’s plenty of room to do it, and you have a nice back! just an idea! i love the sweetheart idea on it, since there’s detail on the edges but none in the middle… i might would do a “wider” sweetheart than what you drew in paint, though? i’m sure your seamstress can play around with it for you… 🙂 and i’d do a “busy” sash, maybe one where the beading replicated the look of the lace? pretty dress! can’t wait to see how it turns out! 🙂

I would do less of a sweetheart and a more rounded/dip style..let me see if I can find a photo of something similar…
…like this maybe?

From the picture it looks like the lace trails down the sides of the dress. I wouldn’t add a sash because it would break up the detail of the dress that makes it unique. I do think that a wide lace sash that closely matched the lace on the dress would be really neat. Good luck! Its a beautiful dress that really flatters your figure!

I love sparkle do I would go with a blinged out sash. I suggest you take these pictures to the place where you’re getting your veil and other accesories and see what they have. You may be able to get a better deal since you would get everything together.
