A lot of women wear ivory dresses around white tableclothes and shirts.  It doesn’t look bad at all.  That’s less of an issue than you think it is.

If the second dress is in your budget, then you should get whichever dress makes you happy and feel best when you’re in it!  I don’t think that some beading and a longer train (as long as it’s not really really long) will look out of place outside.  I think that a ball gown would look out of place.  So I think that as long as the Pronovias is a simpler or closer fitting cut, a bit of beading/embellishment won’t look out of place outside.  Both of your dresses sound like great options.  Maybe trying them on a second time will help clarify which you want more.

I have an ivory dress and white table cloths. I figured if people are looking that closely at me and my table cloths than they have too much time on their hands! I don’t think anyone will notice. Besides, it will set me apart from my table linens 😉 It sounds like you really like dress #2 so go with that one if you think it’s “the one”.

if you feel that the second dress is the one, you could always order from an online store like netbride, pearl’s place, or rk bridal for a more reasonable price.
