Hi Bees, I’ve seen you help out so many brides before me, so can I get a little feedback on the dresses that I tried on yesterday. These are the 4 that stuck out in my mind at the end of the day. It’s really two each of two different styles that I’m struggling with: do I go with a more fitted trumpet or with a fuller skirt? I like lace appliques and I’d love to find something with a cute sleeve, but it isn’t a requirement. I love the very flowy look of organza and tulle, not as much into satin. Especially because my wedding is in May in Louisiana. We are getting married in a big catholic church and then the reception in a historic ballroom. Option 1: I love that it has lace appliques and beading, but not too much. It’s a fuller skirt but fitted through the hips, with a flowy organza skirt. The back dips down a little which I like, and I felt like the rouched top was more structured and held my top in well. My concerns are that it is strapless, and I was hoping to find something that isnt, but I do like this look on me too. And is it too full and hiding my figure?I think this dress is this one http://davidtuteraformoncheri.com/wedding-dresses/112222/, except in person its SO not that big. But I know it is David Tutera. Option 2: again strapless, slightly fuller skirt but fitted through the hips. Lace all on the skirt, but a fitted rouched organza top. This shop didn’t allow pictures so I only have the one that my mom snuck. The fit on this was amazing and the skirt was very flowy. And the top felt very supportive and was flattering. But there are no sleeves and no beading here. And again, is the wider skirt covering up too much of my figure? I don’t know which dress this is..Option 3: Again the shop didn’t allow pictures, my sister took this one before realizing we couldn’t. I loved this dress the first time I tried on dresses, and loved it again yesterday. It has nice sleeves, it’s fitted but with an awesome train, and it fit me great. Problems are, I dont liove the lace on it, and it has a little too much beading for my liking. The sales girl did say we could order it with less beading on the cap sleeves, since I was worried it looked too flashy..And I’m willing to bet money that this dress is this Allure: http://allurebridals.com/Store_ProductDetail.aspx?pid=0D42hG267661Ih87D3Dh
Option 4: again, more fitted with cap sleeves. Lace appliques with a nice amount of beading. Rouched bodice is nice, and the skirt is nice and flowy. But I’m still questioning if I want the sleeves, although I do like how they come off in the pictures (they said the sleeves could be removed without much problem if I wanted to). And is the bottom too small on this one?
Any help for me, bees? I’d love some new eyes to look at it as I started to get tired with all the looking yesterday! And I know I am ahead of the game here, so I’ll take my time and find my favorite dress! Thanks for any feedback!!
