I VOTED WRONG!!!!!!!!!
#3 is KILLER because you have such a beautiful shape, and how the dress is fitted tight to your things, it is just so flattering! Because you have such a gorgeous figure, I would go with it (the Allure). WOW!!!!!!!!!

#3 hands down. It’s stunning on you!

The third dress looks the best on you by far. My second choice is dress #4, but it seems to cut you in a weird place, and so I would say dress #3 is the best!

#3. Even if you get it without the beading on the cap sleeves, it is still my fave.
I think it flares at the perfect spot for your figure!

I think dress 3 flatters you the best.

I’m glad our reasoning makes sense to you. However, please do not allow us to make you choose dress #3 if YOU don’t love it. There ARE other tulle and lace dresses with appliques on them out there that may be better designed than dress #4.
In fact, when I was engaged the first time many years ago and canceled that wedding, I personally chose almost exactly what you seem to be looking for.
Just for fun I will post a cell phone pic of the ad here. (The never-worn dress itself is in storage, and I don’t have any digital pics of it to post here.)

I see where you’re coming from! I have so much time, I’m going to continue looking and see if there’s something more perfect out there. I knew I would not be an easy to please dress shopper, because I just know myself! I overanalyze things too much, so I just wanted to get the honest opinions of outsiders. I usually find myself picking an option different than the majority on other bee’s dress polls, so I won’t be blindly going with this choice.
I don’t want to snub the opinions given here, because I appreciate it so much! I just know my mom and I both felt that #3 didn’t look as nice up close. It looked prettier from further away, but up close the fabric is a little weird..
I do agree with what a PP said that it might be the angle that is affecting the bias towards this dress. Also, it was the only one that was in my size. I’ve certainly learned that if it’s in your size, it definitely makes me love it more, just because its so much more flattering!
Thank you all for your opinions..this is SO much harder than I thought it would be..

@spotted_giraffe: I looked these over carefully, and even though I love the fabrics in 1 and2 (lace AND chiffon) I liked 3 best. Then I checked the rest of the responses here and was happy to see that I’m not in the minority. Not that it matters.
Also, nos 1 & 2 both look to be in need of a poofy crinoline. I don’t know if you’d like that bigger look.
Dress 3 is SO beautiful and elegant.
Do you like it? Which dress has an edge with you?

#3 is the one!! You look phenomenal in that gown! 🙂

Good question, I was trying not to say too much, so that i didn’t affect the poll results. I love #1 for an awesome bridal poofy dress look with a bit of extra sparkle and lace. But #3 is that BAM, body-rocking dress, it’s just a little less bridal on my scale.
Maybe I can find something else that is somewhere in between..

I’m torn between #1 and #3, they’re very different looks. This is actually the dilemma I’m having right now – to go for a classic, elegant gown or something a little more glamorous and sexy.
The first dress is beautiful, and looks beautiful on you. It fits a little funny in the bust, but I can only assume that’s because the boning doesn’t sit right when it’s not the right size. The third dress really shows off your figure. I don’t mind the extra beading, but if you think it’s excessive – you could always go for lace sleeves instead?
Also, you asked about the difference between the #3 and #4 – among other things, the neckline on the third gown is infinitely more flattering. The classic v-neck is very slimming and lengthens the silhouette. The neckline on the last dress – kind of a broad sweetheart with cap sleeves – makes you look wider than you are.

Option three looked the best on you

I voted for option #3! It’s very pretty!

What good taste you have – those dresses are all lovely!
I am with the others – I love #3 on you. You have the perfect body for it, and it for you. But I can understand why you might feel it is not bridal enough, especially with your venues, and why you might want a more flared gown.
By all means look at ball gowns. You could try on ones that flare at the natural waist (the ones you have tried so far are drop waisted) – though to be honest that would be covering up your curves more, when you don’t need to.
So I would be suggesting keep looking for drop waist ball gowns, but look for ones that flare out gradually from the hip (like #1 does) rather than the upper thigh (like #4 does). As @Khlobee said, the dress flaring out from the thigh cuts you in half a bit because it juts out a bit with the rushing effect at the hip, and having the flare there unfortunately draws attention to your belly, in the wrong way.
What obviously work for you is a dress that flares out gradually while being fitted across the hips – because both #1 and #3 do that.
