I feel like I can not get the dress search OFF MY BRAIN! I have been shopping 3 times and tried on probably 40 gorgeous dresses but nothing seems “right”. I used to think I wanted something more sheath-like but trying on A-Lines has shown me that its the best style for me. I am in love with the Watters Lasara and Jim Hjelm 8800 (the dresses are pretty different) but haven’t found a place that has a sample (and I think that both are out of my price range). Today I go for a 4th time and I think if I don’t find something then I’m going to try and put the search on the back burner for the month. Anyone else have a lot of dress indecision during their wedding dress search?

I had the same problem, thought I wanted a sheath and ended up changing to an A line. I know the watters dresses go up to about 2-3k, which is what turned me off from them even though I loved that gown too. I’m not sure about Jim Helms, but have you tried on any dresses similar to these? With the straps and deep v-cuts? I went back and forth between aline and trumpet too, and ended up with a modified a line, which sits a little lower.
I know i really couldn’t rest until I had found my dress (meaning 3 months of sleepless nights while I wondered if my first dress was the one), so hopefully you find something this weekend. Have you looked on preownedweddingdresses? Some of the dresses being sold might be in your area, I know i managed to find a girl with my dress local so I could go try it on.
Also, look on the watters and JH websites to see which stores in the area carry their gowns. I called every bridal shop in my area until I found one that carried my dream dress, it makes it alot easier if you know they have certain styles before you go.
