I am very modest and even I don’t think this dress is revealing and I wouldn’t add or change any part of it.

Mackenzie_Wilson :  As other PPs have mentioned, the gown you chose is truly modest. However, you’ve pointed out the many issues you have with it, and it’s quite possible any solutions won’t work with the gown or that you won’t be happy with the outcome.

It seems that you feel stuck with the dress, but there’s always the option to sell it and choose something else. One of the issues you mentioned is that the gown makes you feel wide; perhaps a more streamlined silhouette would be more to your liking. I would suggest you consider other viable options. BHLDN has several gowns that are ready to ship with reasonable prices. Something like this gown could be an alternative: long sleeves, modest, has a very romantic and stylish vibe:

I think the dress is pulled up way too high and that’s why youre feeling “wide”. The waist isn’t sitting where its supposed to and the skirt is too high on your hips. It’s not supposed to be clipped up so high and it just doesn’t look right.

The back straps are gapping so much because the dress is pulled up too high. If it was lowered to where it is should be the straps would lay flat.

If it’s too revealing when lowered then I’d look for a different dress. I would not add a modesty panel BC then it would be full grandma. You need to feel beautiful on your wedding day and I don’t think you feel that way in this dress.
