Why on earth do they care if a dress clashes with a venue (I completely disagree with them anyway)? but seriously, who invited Negative Nelly to voice their opinion? That dress is amazing & you are going to look beautiful.

one of my friends made a comment about my dress (after we got married because I kept the dress a secret) because it wasn’t what she expected. I wore a lace mermaid gown to our elopement in Greece. Of course because we eloped everyone had expected chiffon, but I LOVED my dress so much and am so happy with my overall look that I am proud to have ‘clashed’ because I rocked the sh!t outa that dress :-))

im sure you will do the same. Be proud of that dress it is truly gorgeous on you.

You look stunning in that dress! You’d look appropriate in ANY setting in that dress! What in the world is your support team talking about???

I disagree with your family. I think it is very romantic, and I personally love the contrast of dressy/elegant dresses in a outdoor setting. Very shabby chic.

Stop the regret! You look beautiful-as it being too formal for the ranch comments, direct the naysayers to pictures of Dylan Lauren’s wedding.  She got married on her dad’s ranch in a lace gown too. And who knows fashion better than the Lauren’s! Congrats!

Your dress is absolutely beautiful and looks great on you! It is completely appropriate for your wedding.

If others persist in giving you grief over your choice of gown, you could jokingly respond that even though your venue is a ranch, you’re getting married, not roping cattle. 🙂

That dress is awesome and I don’t think it’s going to clash with your setting at all. I think lace can look rustic and fancy at the same time.

Um, that dress is freaken BEAUTIFUL!! You look amazing and the wedding isn’t about where it’s at it’s about you and your man and as long as you both look stunning are beyond happy then that is all that matters! I think it will work fine with an outdoors wedding anyway 🙂
