Like others have mentioned: it’s your big day and you should wear what you want! Plus you look drop dead gorgeous in that gown! If you are still feeling unsure, check out these images of brides in long, elegant lace dresses with outdoors/rustic weddings:

You will look STUNNING on your big day so don’t have any regrets! Wear with confience and naysayers can eat their words. 😉

I think the dress is just STUNNING!!! I want a dress similar to that and my wedding is at a park outside.  Just because our weddings are outside we should still be able to get the dress of our dreams. Don’t let people influence your choice.

You said it best chica, you should be able to wear what you want on your wedding day.  The theme is bride, love, and marriage…not ranch!  Rock the gown!

Um..your friends/family are crazy. That dress looks like it was made for you and I think it is totally appropriate for just about any type of wedding! Don’t let their negative comments get you down, you look gorgeous!

If you can’t wear whatever your heart desires on your wedding day, then when the hell can you?! Ignore the criticism–it looks great!

Don’t listen to them. It’s YOUR wedding, not theirs. I think they don’t deserve a quarter of a vote just because they’re essentially saying that how you want your wedding is WRONG. They are being nasty and you should not let anyone upset your day. That dress looks beautiful on you and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

Just popping in to say your dress is beautiful!! It’s sort of similar to mine AND we’re getting married on the same day.

Personally, I think the romantic lace/tulle is very appropriate for a ranch type setting. Lace is pretty common for more “rustic” or vintage type themes.

Beautiful! Congrats!!

the dress is stunning on you! I love this (though personally I would wear a cathedral veil with it that wasn’t puffy but that’s just a personal perference) you look PERFECT!

That dress is stunning!!!   I don’t really understand the comment about it not going with the ranch theme… what kind of dress are you “supposed” to wear to a ranch?

Ignore the negativity- you look absolutely beautiful!
