Don’t fret, you’ll find your dress! You still have TONS of time, however, so if you want to lose weight (please don’t crash diet), start now and go dress shopping in October. You’ll still have time, don’t worry.

There are so many different sizes dresses now a days for plus size women. Look into the brand Eden.. My dress size is in the higher range also, and I’ve got a beautiful dress. See picture below. There are a few sites that I have plus size dresses, however I dont know if they ship to Ireland. Check them out and see. http://www.bestbridalprices.com http://www.plussizebridal.com http://www.houseofbrides.com
Just keep looking!! Theres a dress for all of us, regardless of our size!

You have plenty of time. But START now. You don’t want to keep pushing it back. But I am sure you will look beautiful in a dress at your size now. There are alot of beautiful plus size dresses. It does take work to find them. But they are out there. I was scared to try on dresses, but I must say I am having a wonderful experience especially when they look amazing on.

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question! Are sizes in Ireland different than American sizes? Just curious because you mentioned David’s Bridal but I didn’t know if maybe you all had that as well.
You have plenty of time to get healthy properly, please don’t crash diet even though it’s tempting! I went down a size from the beginning of summer by watching portions/calories and drinking TONS of water. I also took up bike riding and doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD. It takes forever to see any results which can be discouraging but I feel SO much better when I don’t drink soda/eat carbs and sugar.
I’m sure you will find a beautiful dress in your size! If you show us some examples of styles you like maybe we can help you with suggestions!

@SunnyBunny: Mhm, I live in Ireland now, and I think US sizes are smaller. I don’t know why. But that has always been the impression I’ve had, specially when trying out wedding dresses. I usually am a size 12-14 girl but on wedding dresses (Maggie Sottero) I needed a size 18. I don’t know if it is because it is us sizes :/
Scandinavia (Sweden where I come from) has bigger sizes imo than US sizes as well :/
@trinity_542: Please don’t go on a crash diet! Just take your time please. and we women are all beautiful regardless of size. We are here if you need support! Hugs!
