Well, I’m so over strapless dresses so this dress is a plus!!! lol  Just because you are full figured doesn’t mean you have to hide behind a puffy skirt.

This dress is nice, but if I were you I’d try some fit n flare dresses and mermaid style dresses….NON-strapless!!!!  lol

I think you’d be surprised

Also, on a side note…if your wedding is a sufficient time ahead of today, losing a few pounds is not too hard to do…that is, if this dress not zipping up bothered you.

I recently lost close to 30 pounds without even going to the gym!!!  All I did was cut out junk food…bread, even whole wheat and ALL milk products.  No cheese, black coffee…no cream sauces.

The weight came off effortlessly.  And I’m only throwing this info out there because you put in the sad smiley face about the size 18 dress not zipping up

You have a great waist, so definitely try some mermaids on! I like this style on you, but I think you could emphasize the curve in if your waist.

That is way too much fabric for you. The dress is lovely, but we can all see that you have a little waistline to show off there. That being said, corset backs are good for emphasising your figure. I’d say try to stay towards natural waist dresses and try more fitted silhouettes. I can definitely see you rocking a slim A-line or fit n flare.

ambersparks0801:  I think the dress is very pretty, but don’t think it suits you. I agree with PP’s I would try a more figure hugging dress! A-lines are very flattering on everyone.. That’s what my dress was. You could get a strapless dress and get a bolero too. That’s what I did!!
