I have bought 4 dresses. My original plan was 2 dresses anyway. One they let me exchange so no biggie and 1 I sold and took a loss.
BUT I can’t help still looking at dresses and wanting new dresses! Anyone else?

@mishelleez: You totally crack me up! You should go into the professional wedding dress shopping business. =) Help out the ladies who dread it, while you get to enjoy the hunt without hurting your pocket.

LOL, I know your pain. I bought 4 dresses also. Wore 2, sold the other 2. Its 3.5 months after my wedding and I’m still obsessed! I just had a dream last night I had found this perfect lacy ballgown and was trying it on…Well I also dreamt that I was dating my dentist who happened to be running a bar and dance hall inside his office, so maybe my brain wires were a little crossed last night 🙂 Anyways I still look at the dress threads here, and the preowned sites (my excuse is that I’m trying to sell my other 2 now and I gotta check out what else is in the market).

I am dress obsessed, but with my own dress. I’m having some problems with it and a lot of my time is actually spent trying to sort everything out.
I’m also obsessed with other dresses as well, in terms of looking at online galleries but not once have I been tempted into getting another dress. My dress has always been the one.

@mishelleez: show us pics! i want to see your dresses!

Here is a pic of all 4 from a different post I had with them. The two end dresses are the ones I am wearing and the 1st one is pre alterations.

Love your dresses! I am totally obsessed too. So far I am a 2 dress bride, but I have to admit, that hasn’t stopped me from looking around. I feel like I’ll never be fully satisfied! 🙂 Oh well… it’s fun.

You are not alone! I’m a two dress bride and I still cant stop looking at dresses. I’m starting to second.. or third guess my two dresses. aaaahhhh.. my Fiance and Maid/Matron of Honor think I’m crazy, but looking at dresses are like my “woosah” when I’m having a bad day.. i want to try on more, but I know if i do, i’ll end up buying another one… aaahhh! somebody stop me!! 😉

I still look at pictures of dresses. They’re all so pretty!
I know that one is all I can afford and I like my dress, so I really can not buy more.

I am soooo relieved to read this post! I got married in June and I, too, REMAIN dress obsessed, only I’m using as much discipline as I can muster NOT to look at the dresses site here or the preowned sites ’cause God knows what I’ll do! I was a two-dress bride; sold one before the wedding and am STILL wondering whether I should have gone further, looked even more, gotten a third, maybe the one I wore wasn’t really me after all! Not an insecurity thing — d’ya think! — I just love white, no kidding; it’s my favorite color and I loved trying on these dresses too! (though I am truly sympathetic to the bees who don’t; I HATE trying on jeans and bathing suits so I completely get it)! Oh, and watch say yes to the dress and all those shows till the small hours of the mornin’.

I am at three dresses. I have one for the ceremony, the reception, the TTD photos, and OMG Vera Wangs new White collection for DB – are you kidding!? I Die! I don’t think I have enough closet space for 4, but if I throw out all his old hunting gear, hmmmmmm…..

In terms of a dress for myself, I don’t have a problem–I don’t look because I don’t want to be tempted.
BUT i have become obsessed with seeing other peoples’ dresses (it’s so fun!).

I LOVE looking at dresses but only when they’re worn by real brides, not heavily photo shopped anorexics. I scroll right thru those. I can’t really comment on a dress unless the actual bride is wearing it.
