Here is a casblanca I have tried on, and seem to be leaning towards, but can I get some honest opinions on what all you bees like and dont like about this dress.
The dress is rather large and is gathered by pins in the back, and is currently a zipper back. If I order it, I will be changing the back into a corset.
Also notice the belt wrapped around, and with the change to a corset back it would get sewn onto the dress instead of tied around. With or without belt?!?!

Without….there’s already alot of detail so that belt kinda makes it look busy!

Beautiful dress and it looks amazing on you. I love the belt where you have it on your right side.

I love it with the belt! Yes, there are a lot of details to your dress, but that belt is understated and goes amazingliy well with the dress!!

I really like the dress, but I noticed that there is bunching of fabric near the waist. I’m thinking it might be because the dress isn’t sized correctly for you. I didn’t buy a dress that I liked for that reason – there was bunching at the hips that the consultant said would never go away due to the cut of the dress (it was trumpet, so the fabric could not be taken in – there needed to be room to sit down in the dress).
I guess I liked the sash because it hides the bunching of the dress. It might not be necessary if the dress was sized correctly though. Did they give you any advice on that at the store?

Love it! And I really like the belt with it. Very pretty.

Yes to the dress and yes to the belt!!! I had/have a Cassablanca too and LOVED it!!

@Happy2bMrs: There is some buching in the waist shown in the pictures and yes that is because it is not sized correctly. The dress here is a size 14 and I measured to be a size 6. Also with the back being turned into a corset the concultant also said I’ll be bale to have it as tight or as loose as I’d like.

I really like the dress and belt on you!

Then problem solved! I think the dress is beautiful. Especially the lace on the hem at the bottom…so pretty.

I like the belt in the first photo with it in it, I think it really adds something to the dress. I don’t like it as much in the 2nd picture though… I’m not sure if it’s b/c it’s up close or if it’s too far into the middle. I definitely love it if it’s farther over to your right side though!

I think I’d just take the sparkly brooch off the belt and have it sewn right onto the dress.
It looks lovely.
