I didn’t vote because I think both are beautiful options. I love a simple dress! My dress was a very simple satin like material fit and flare with very minimal belt with some beading in the center. Some might have found it to be too simple, but it was perfect for me. I also dressed it up with a chunky pearl statement necklace, a veil that had some beading along the edge, and bracelets. I was also able to wear a cardigan with it for some of the pictures. I wouldn’t change a thing about my dress, and definitely don’t regret it!

The Satin looks more formal, the Tulle looks more bridal- they both suite your shape great! Heres my solution, if you love the dress but you want more “wow” add some bling on the veil and add bling on the dress. Pair the dress you love most with a more blinged out belt and you could even add beading to other parts of the dress as well, such as the bottom of it.

love the second on you! it isn’t too plain, it has just enough sparkle!!

I really like both of them! I don’t think you can go wrong wither way. And no, they are not too plain!
I felt preasured into having a more “glam dress” but I just didn’t like any of them. No matter what I tried on, I kept coming back to an all satin gown. (I also seriously considered doing the organza gowns – I love how they look like a cloud!)
So I went with me gut and got a satin gown, and now that the dress has arrived everyone else is coming around and saying that they like it, and that it suits me.
I know that satin has been out of style for a while, but it’s making a come back. For me, it was the only style of dress I was drawn to.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I will probably keep looking a little more since I have time, but I do feel much better about both now.

Love love love the tulle! I think it’s simple but in a nice way! I love simple dresses more than beaded ones anyway. And it looks super flattering on you!

I think if you like it then go with it!

I feel like everyone should have the “gut feeling” like this is THE ONE. Maybe it’s not the case for everyone, but I definitely knew! Both dresses are beautiful on you, however I do have a bias towards the tulle. If you have time, by all means keep shopping, why not 🙂 We only get to try on wedding dresses once right? Don’t worry if you think someone might perceive the dress to be too plain, it’s about what you like and looks good on you! In my opinion those dresses are very elegant.

Let me star off by saying I am not a huge fan of Satin- to me it’s a little stiff looking.
I am also not a huge fan of style of tulle dress you are wearing… but I love that dress on you.
Elegant, classic, romantic.

I think that the tulle one has a little extra “something”. I think that simple isn’t a bad thing and with a simple dress you can maybe have a “loud” bouquet. My dress is simple as well and if that is your style, go for it! You look gorgeous in both and I think your fiance and all the guests attending will think the same.

I love them both, but voted for #1. I think you’ll look back on this and LOVE it! It is so elegant and timeless that it will always look lovely!
Sometimes with all the bling and sequins that brides have I think they look like they’re wearing an Olympic ice skating outfit (with a big poofy skirt). Too over the top Dancing With the Stars, if that makes sense.
