@ttigger5:  That is such a pretty dress, omg I love the criss-cross top and the lace detail on the hem.

Because these days I am liking almost every strap I see, I say add straps. BUt it looks nice without straps.

I LOVE THIS DRESS! That’s probably why I’m getting married in it. 🙂

Sorry, got distracted… I didn’t even know the bolero wasn’t included. Huh. Anyway, I think, because the Pergola bust is much higher than most strapless dresses, it wouldn’t be a problem. I think you look great! There are some brides who have added straps to it, and I thought it made the top too bulky. The dress is so light and airy. But I would imagine a sheer, cap sleeve would be adorable.

It really comes down to how YOU feel. You look beautiful in the dress as it is and you could definitely pull it off without the bolero but I think it’s better to have one at hand if you think you’ll be self-conscious without it. Better safe than sorry, right? There are plenty of very nice bolero and sleeve options out there that won’t break the bank either if the original one is out of your price range. Just look them up on Etsy.

If this were my dress I’d definitely wear it with the bolero, it would look absolutely stunning! I love sleeves, can you tell? lol

@ttigger5:  I love your dress, you wear it well! I don’t think you need to add straps or anything, as long as you can move around and it doesn’t fall down on you. I wouldn’t want to be stuck pulling it up all night, so if that’s not a problem, keep it as is.

@ttigger5:  It looks gorgeous as is.  As my consultant told me when I was discussing adding straps to cover my arms, “sometimes adding straps brings attention to your arm as opposed to taking it away.”  Just some food for thought.
