So I’ve called the bridal shop about 6 times over the past 2 weeks and still haven’t received a firm answer on when my dress will arrive or if it has even shipped yet. Everytime I call, there’s some excuse “Oh, we need to call you back”, “Oh, our contact with the company in NYC is already closed for the day”.
My wedding is in a month (9/24) and I’m really starting to panic. Anyone else going through this? Someone please tell me this will work out!

Oh yikes! I would be panicking too! How far away is the shop? Could you go in during your lunch break tomorrow and talk to the owner/manager? They might be more responsive in person.
What date did they originally give you when you ordered it?

@S.H.:I agree!!! Go to the store and talk to someone in person (go earlier in the day so they can’t use the excuse of the NYC store being closed for the day). Don’t leave without an answer! I would be freaking out too!

Yeah, I would be quite nervous myself. Ask to speak to the manager/owner if need be. When did you order your dress? A friend of mine placed an order for a dress through a boutique, and somehow, the sales lady never called in/ordered the dress. Months later, she inquired about the dress, and there was no record of the order. Im not trying to scare you, but I definitely think you need to go in and talk to someone asap. Or ask for the NY number, and call them yourself.
