I’ll be getting married this summer. We’re having a destination wedding in Jamaica by the beach (not on the beach, in a garden by the sea). I bought this dress online and I really like it – but havent been able to get too many opinions since Im on the West coast and my family is all on the East Coast.
I like this dress – its very affordable (under $150!!) and Im quite comfortable in it.. my only concern is, I’m 27. Is this too matronly on me?
Honest opinions Please!!

It’s fitted and it has cleavage…I don’t think it’s matronly! Are you concerned about that because of the sleeves? They’re flattering on you. You should completely wear it if you are comfortable with it, but if it makes you uncomfortable you shouldn’t. I like it and think it’s a lovely dress. It fits you SUPER well!

I think it is a bit matronly, but if you feel beautiful, then you feel beautiful. That is what matters. It also looks a bit short.

I think it’s beautiful and perfect for a garden, destination wedding. If you don’t like the sleeves, have them removed.

I don’t think it looks matronly at all! It’s unique and very lovely, and you look so stunning in it. I’ve never seen anything like this before, and it’s quite breathtaking. And what a great deal!

It’s sweet and simple, shows off your body (including a bit of cleavage there!) and looks really elegant and beautiful. If you’re comfortable in it I definitely wouldn’t describe it as matronly!

Thanks for all your input.. I think I may end up removing the sleeves.
Someone mentioned that the dress is too short. It doesnt have a train and I’ll be wearing flats (since we’ll be on grass). I kind of realized that its a tad short – but thought it was for the best because the whole cerony/reception will be outside on grass and I dont really want the hem to get dirty. Is it ok if it doesnt hit the floor all the way?

I think its beautiful! Its very vintage but the satin bands give it a modern flair! And I like the lace sleeves! You look great!

OK, Update. I’m a bit torn between the dress above and DB’s Allove Lace/Trumpet Gown. They both have a bit of the vintage feel that I like. My issue is – one costs $120, and the other $599. Is the difference in style worth the difference in price?

I give a big thumbs up to the dress you just posted!!!! Beautiful!!
The first one was pretty but did not flatter your shape as well as the second one. I probably would have said nice to the first one but now that I have seen options I am voting for dress number 2 all the way!!
