Casablanca 1936 $800

The beading detail was heavy but lite at the same time.  It was shimmery in the sunlight but much more obvious when we went indoors.  I loved my dress.

Here is my Maggie Sottero Kyra. It was somewhere around $1200 without alterations but I am hoping that my dress will fit as perfectly as the sample did so that I won’t need any alterations 🙂

548 w/o alterations. Not much needed. Just the front skirt hemmed up and a wrist strap for the Train.

@Rapunzelle:  Thanks! It’s “Margie” by David Tutera. The consultant pulled it for me even though I said “no beading, not a lot of poof, not a lot of lace” and I fell in love with it.

Just picked it up today. It’s a Maggie sottero and I paid 2800 plus alterations …still to be done.

great to see these pics. From other wedding blogs and magazines I was getting the sense that you just HAD to spend $5000+ dollars to get a nice dress- obviously not true!

The price ranges all seem to be $1000k and higher! Way to score anything cheaper than that bee’s

Essence of Australia D1316 $1800 before alterations

I don’t have a picture of me in it because my mom doesn’t want anyone to see it until the wedding day. She is the only one who has seen me in it.

Enzoani Emporia.  I’ll be changing the neckline to a deep, sort of angular sweetheart – like the Enzoani Diana dress.  Paid $1395 before taxes and alterations 🙂  So in love… Ordered it in May – likely won’t arrive til January-April sometime
