I am going to re-try dresses tomorrow for friends and family and decide on one of two (I went alone my first visit).
One is a sample and I’d be taking that dress, the price is 50% off and is half the cost of the next dress.
This dress I assume is the one I will be buying, both are similar, but for my outdoor wedding, this fabric is much lighter.
I have already found the dress $200 less “in the city” about 45 minutes away, tomorrow I will ask the store if they can do anything, as it wasn’t just one store, but 3 I found it $200 less.
Second to that, I’m in Canada, and see it $400 or so less online in the states, varying websites -I have family in the states, worst case I could have it shipped to them, then brought across, or shipped here -some websites sell themselves as wholesalers, others online dress shopping options.
Are there any to definitely stay away from? Is there something I am missing with seeing such a price difference with the online retailers?
This is “only” an $800 gown, so while I don’t feel $200 is a big deal when it’s a gown worth a couple thousand, but the $200 and $400 are a quarter and half the price, so for me, the bargain hunt is definitely worth it. I don’t want to come across as cheap, but I am also not clueless/careless that certain things can be found in different prices at varying prices!!
Any tips would be appreciated on how to get the dress I want, for the best price!
