I love the one you bought and don’t care for the one with the tutu around the waist (That’s what it looks like to me). The one you bought it timeless, elegant and gorgeous!

I think the one you bought is very romantic.  I like it a lot. 

I hate that the salesperson was so pushy though.  Even if the actual sample was leaving the store that day, there’s no reason you couldn’t order it later.  You might lose the trunk show discount (but I would have pushed for it even later) but if being sure was worth it to you, you certainly should have been able to sleep on it.

I really like the one you picked! While I like the second one I feel like peplum shirts, dresses, skirts, etc are really trendy right now and looking back at your photos years later I think the dress will look really dated.
