So I have my dress and I LOVE it. However it was a dress i never dreamed of, never pictured myself in and never thought id ultimately choose. Now it sits at the bridal shop awaiting my big day.
But in the meantime, I have not purposely looked at any dresses but its easy to run into them while searching the net for wedding stuff.
Now i see dresses that I love and wonder if i made the wrong decision. I dont have the money to just get another one and sell mine so what do you bees suggest?

Can you post a picture of your dress?
If you LOVE your dress then keep it. I already have mine and found that even though I’ve seen tons of other dresses out there (tons of dresses I like) that they all ultimately don’t fit with the tone of the wedding the Mister and I are having. Even though the dress you have chosen is a dress you never dreamed of having, there must have been something that just clicked in your head when you put the dress on and decided it was ‘the one.’ I think you should stick with your first gut instinct and keep the dress (your first instinct is usually the best).
Maybe start deciding on some accessories, maybe it will make you feel a little better. When I was waiting for my dress to come in I was constantly thinking that ‘what if I made the right choice’, etc. Since I bought my dress on the spot (and a year ahead of our wedding). But.. when my dress finally came in and I tried it on, all the feelings came back and I knew that was it.
Good luck with everything, and post a picture of your dress if you can! 🙂

My bet is that you love your dress and have been away from it for so long that it’s easy to fall in love with other dresses … so I would suggest maybe going back to your dress … feeling it, trying it on, etc. I bet you’ll fall in love with all over again!

@3m I’m having the same issue and I’m on my second dress! The first one was a sample, and when I changed my mind on that one, I convinced the shop to take it back and let me order a different one. (which they don’t usually allow, and i’m convinced they only let me because my 2nd dress costs more than the 1st one) It’s not that I don’t like my dress, it’s just that I’m horrible at making ANY decision, wedding-related or not. There are just so many dress choices and you only get to pick one!!! It’s so hard. I see all these other ones and wonder how they would look on me. So you’re not alone!

Here is my dress, however, my dress is white and does not have the cap sleeve. When i go back to look at it, im bummed that its only shown in blue and with the sleeve. The picture does not do it justice.
I guess its the Belle (Beauty and the beast) look i never thought of my self in, sorta southern bell look….thoughts?!

I think this is very common. I am going through the same thing. I think I should not have bought my dress 18 months before the wedding!

Your dress is stunning.
I also have a maggie dress called Brigidine.
I don’t think you should worry about it. If you love this dress, and it’s the one you picked I’m sure you will be happy in it on your wedding day. =]

@ 3M – your dress is gorgeous, and actually the kind of dress I thought I would end up with!! My dress is Maggie’s Poppy. It is all lace, and I never ever ever thought I would end up with lace. It wasn’t even on my radar before I started trying dresses on.
