What don’t you like?… I’m feeling the same way you are right now.  I wish I would have gone with a flowy dress, stead of so fitted.  I think you look very pretty!

Wow, that dress is absolutely lovely! What exactly don’t you like about it? And do you mind if I ask what dress that is? I think it looks amazing on you.

seriously, i never take my FI’s opinion on “clothing” too seriously….he likes to poke fun at my outfits, which is actually pretty funny because the things he says are usually true (but that doesn’t stop me from loving something or from wearing it again!)

He probably had no idea he was commenting on the dress you were going to wear, and it’s not like he saw it ON you (in person) and said that.  I think it would be a whole different story seeing you in that, walking down the aisle.

I personally like Dress #1 better but whatever makes you feel the best, go for it!  =)

I said oh wow when I saw dress 1 and before I read your post – it has a unique couture look that the second one does not achieve in my eyes but they are both lovely on your beautiful figure!

I changed my dress, partly due to my then FI’s comments on gowns he saw in pics I showed him, and then last night, he actually said it wouldn’t have mattered what I wore, he would have loved it.  YOU in a dress is way different than just a dress by itself… wear what you love!  I adore the skirt on the first one!!

OOh tough!!! I love the bottom of the first one, but not the top.  It looks like basket weave, but that could be the pic.  And I love the top of the second but not the bottom.

I would say go with what you love and ignore Fiance 🙂  You’ll look beautiful on the day no matter what you wear!  As soon as you walk down the aisle he’ll forget he didn’t like the dress in a picture 🙂  Remember it can look totally different on you than a model!

I think if you’ve put a deposit down, you should stick with the one you have. I think they are both equally gorgeous dresses that flatter your figure, but I don’t think the first is so much more amazing than the second to justify throwing away the deposit you already made.

It’s really natural to feel some panic after making a big decision, but the dress you chose looks amazing on you! I don’t know what the difference is in cost, but I think if you already paid toward a beautiful dress that looks great on you, you should stick with it.
