Could you sell the one you already have?  That other one doesn’t really cost a lot of money.  The one you have does look really good on you but if you aren’t crazy about it, maybe you should change it.

After reading your post I’m surprised by how good your custom-made dress looks, even before alterations.  Regardless, I think it’s important to love your wedding dress.

this dress you posted is very beautiful but could you post the dress you currently have? honestly, i got my dress total clearance $100 and love it! but i notice when i look at other dresses i get very tempted. i just tell myself that there will always be another dress that is better…..you need to stop looking. if you are happy and like your current dress dont put yourself through torture…seriously.

i know it is hard. there was this dress that i tried on that i really liked but i did not want to spend that much. i decided to go with the cheaper one (classic me) that i like as well. months later that dress that i almost got was in a magazine and i showed my Fiance and he said wow that dress is totally you and would look so great on you! i immediatly freaked and he tried to convinced me that he was joking….which clearly he was not. i explained to him that he can never say that to me; EVER. i was playing aroudn with him but also being very serious at the same time. my heart stoppped for a minute i think. but i just decided that i know the dress i have is beautiful and i look great. if i get another dress then there will just be another one that is better. i will drive myself mad with it.  funny story…

so..i would keep with what you have. try to post the pic of the current one so i can give my opion though 🙂

I like your dress now but I’m wondering… do you know if this ybridal is ok? Sometimes these really cheap wedding dresses aren’t always the best quality or the websites can be scams, so I’d check it out and be really sure!

Besides that… if you think the second dress fits your wedding more, I’d sell the first one. You’d probably be able to get at least $100 for it PLUS your new dress won’t need as many alterations. Good luck!

I think the dress you have is beautiful; however, I totally understand that feeling that you don’t have THE DRESS. Will ordering another one really change it though? I mean, I wasn’t sure about my dress until I tried it on several times. Have you tried actually going gown shopping to figure out what you like first?

The dress you have now is beautiful! You look fabulous in it even before the alterations 😀 And it is just great that you got it for such a nice price. I vote to keep the dress you have and try not to worry so much. I myself bought a dress for $250 and am super happy with it although there are others out there that I see that I want to try on, but I have stopped since it would just depress me lol. No worries for you cause you look gorgeous!

thats the problem! you did not go shopping at all! so you feel kind of depreived or something. maybe you should just go try on dresses  and satisfy that urge. because before i ever went shoppping there were so many dresses that i thought i wanted to bad but then i tried them on and could not get them OFF fast enough. i toally agree with Mrs. Dee to Bee you need to try on some dresses.

try them on will either do one or the other:

you could confirm that the dress you already has is PERFECT

or you could find out that another style looks better on you (could be completely different from the one you found online) then you could sell your current and get the dress of your dreams!

its a win/win situation! KEEP US POSTED AND GOOD LUCK

btw..did i mention you look great in that dress even pre-alterations? seriously…

the new dress that you are eyeing is from j.crew. why don’t you make an appointment with them and try that dress on first before you make any decisions?

I agree that you have to love your dress and that not going dress shopping might leave you feeling like you missed out on a big part of being a bride. Regardless, I love the dress you have now and think it looks very expensive and well made!

I love the dress you have!  I would wear that one!  No need to spend more money to get a new dress!
