I think you look beautiful!  It doesn’t make you look “fat” at all.

I really like your dress. Could you switch out the sash to something closer to the one on the second dress? That might help your dress look more slimming (although you really don’t look fat in it at all).

@LaLou:  really?  I think it looks totally bridal.

Do you have a crinoline under your dress in the picture?  I think it is really pretty, and it looks good on you 🙂

You look lovely! And even if the sash is sewn on, it can be removed and replaced. It’s just a matter of snipping the stitches. That would definitely be an option to explore, especially if the belt detail is one of the things you really like about the other gown.

I love your dress. It is absolutely beautiful. I can’t comment on the second picture because we don’t know what it would look like on you instead of someone else — but don’t have dress regret! That dress is stunning and you are going to look amazing on your wedding day. 🙂

I like both dresses but I think I would prefer the first one. I think the flowing nature of the bottom will make it more comfortable, plus you already have it and it’s within budget. I think sometimes we women are just indecisive (especially for big purchases). Take the buddhism route and say “this one is good enough” and find something on your to-do list that hasn’t been checked off yet. Some women might think this isn’t necessary because they want their day to be their PERFECT day with all the trimmings, but, you know, it’s not going to be perfect and if you impulsively go over your budget and change your mind all the time you’re not gonna have fun in the meantime. Of course this is my opinion, and you surely don’t have to take it.

I think your dress is amazing, and you absolutely look like a bride. I actually think the dress you got is MUCH prettier than the other one.Especially the belt. That’s what keeps it from being ordinary! It’s gorgeous.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume the fact that you’re thinking it makes you look fat has to do with the way the dress comes out at your hips (because judging from your pic, it sure isn’t the size of your waist!) You know what would help that? Bigger crinoline. Judging by the way the dress is draping, it could definitely accommodate it, and it might give you more of that bridal feeling, too.

I don’t think you look fat at all, but if you’re dissatisfied, it doesn’t seem like anything a spanx or long corset couldn’t fix. You’re NOT a big girl. Also…keep in mind that the model in that pic is likely 13 and starving.

I actually like your first dress more than your second choice. I think it definitely looks bridal but also romantic and soft.

Aw I love the first one! It’s so romantic and beautiful. You look lovely in it, really you do! You don’t look fat. Have you had alterations done yet? If not, you’d be amazed at what a little nipping and tucking can do to make it really look custom-fit to you.

This happened to me too! I went to House of Brides and I hadnt even realized that the consultant didn’t even ask what my budget was. I hadn’t realized until I fell in love with a dress that was $1500 and I hadnt wanted to spend more than $600. Well I ended up finding my dress on http://internetbride.com/why-shop-netbride/ for only $950 with no sales tax. Considering the original price, even though this was still over budget, I love it and can actually feel good about the buy. I say look around, check out Pearls Place because thy sell dresses at great prices as well. Both sites go through the actual vendor, they are not remakes of the deisgners. So if you LOVE a dress, find it for the price you can afford!
