I got this dress back in August right after I got engaged (yes, I was excited! LOL ) and my mom was with me too. I had tried this dress on before and wasn’t sure about it but then I tried it on again with my mom being there and it almost made her cry. I like the dress but not sure about the vintage look on me. Another reason for me choosing this dress was that I didn’t want anything strapless and this gown has plenty of coverage for my arms and shoulders. Maybe I am only reconsidering because I haven’t seen it on me after alterations are done and it is accesorized. I wish I had a picture of me in it but I didn’t take one when I tried it on. Any suggestions on how I could dress this dress up a bit? 🙂 I also got a cathedral length veil with a bit of beading along the edge…not sure it really goes…? And can a blusher be added to a veil without one attached to it?

I think it looks beautiful! And I am sure it will look beautiful on you too.
It is probably just a little anxiety because you haven’t seen it in a while. Once you have it on again and with your viel you will remember why you loved it in the first place!

I love this dress and am sure it will look great on you. I think you just need to be “jacked up” with some jewelry!

The dress is gorgeous, and (risking to sounds like PPs) I know it looks great on you.
I experienced some dress regret, but it was really just bridal anxiety, Ilove my dress and I love it for a reason and at the end I just realized it doesn’t have to be THE perfect dress to be perfect.

Thanks ladies, I think it is probably because I got the dress so quickly after my engagement. I think I thought I might have gotten it too early! But when I saw the tears in my mom’s eyes when I tried it on, I knew. 🙂 It probably is bridal anxiety…Yes I think I probably do need to “jack” it up as they say on Say Yes to the Dress. I am wondering what kind of jewelry I should wear with this dress? I was going to wear something with pearls maybe a simple pearl necklace with diamond pearl drop earrings and a pearl bracelet. I am thinking since the top is pretty decorated a pearl bracelet and drop earrings would be enough with the veil and headpiece.

@lovelylight99: I wouldn’t go overboard with accessories and have them overpower the dress. Try on EVERYTHING when you go back for your next fitting. My dress is pretty simple and I thought I just needed this WOW piece to bring out the dress but I ended up getting something a bit more understated and I couldn’t be happier.

@lindsey106 I think I have been watching too many bridal shows and looking at ETSY too much! LOL I think understated would probably be better with a dress like this. I love the stuff on ETSY but a lot of it I think is a bit overpriced. But then maybe I am being too cheap. LOL
