The last picture is by far the best–you look awesome!

The non-emebellished (too pink) belt is a NO! I acutally think the dress looks the best in the last picture, too, so stop worrying about it and enjoy your final days of wedding planning!

I LOVE your dress, it looks fantastic on you. I do understand preferring the coloring of the sample, but to be honest, I think the light in the photo of the sample is much “warmer”/ less harsh than it is in the ones of your dress. What I mean is, I don’t think yours is too white. Glad you’re feeling better about it!

the lace is stunning. the ivory is a really lovely colour and the sparkly belt really makes the dress. You really do look lovely in your dress.

Looks great- I love the blingy sash. Do you need to wear a bra with it? I used double-sided tape with my dress, and it was great-kept me from showing too much when I bent over (bra-less)

YES! It’s really looking fantastic. Great idea to add a little extra lace, and definitely yes to making it more mermaidy! Extra layer of tulle or crinoline?

I think the last pic looks great and not too much cleavage. However, if you are looking for a bra, I just wore this with a low cut dress http://www.ae.com/aerie/browse/product.jsp?productId=4443_0573_235&catId=cat4130017' defer='defer and it worked well. I would suggest at least going to the mall to check it out, it seems like they have DD but not currently online. I have a D and it worked perfectly all night, no falling down and I never worried that I was going to show too much or hav any nipple or flat boob issues.

The dress fits you perfectly! Personally I wouldn’t make it more of a mermaid, I think the softer mermaid is really classy, but it’s up to you!

Lovely. You know what else? It shows in your posture! In the pics where you were really unhappy with the dress, it shows in how your shoulders are kind of slumping – and then it becomes a vicious self-perpetuating cycle, because the poor posture makes the dress look worse than it is. In the last one you initially posted and in this one, you are standing straighter, your whole body “looks happier,” if that makes sense, and the dress automatically looks better. SO remember that, too – stand up straight in all your pictures! Wink

wow, u look gorgeous!

i wouldnt worry soo much about the ivory looking too white, remember your in unnatural lighting so it wont look as white outside of the store…btw did you get your dress at RK Bridal?!? thats where i got my dress 🙂 and had a similar problem when i first tried on my dress, the sample i tried on was champagne and i really liked how it looked but my sis and friend said i should get it in ivory since champagne didnt look ‘bride-ish’ enough…well when i went in for my first fitting i really regretted going with ivory, it looked so white that i felt it took away from the lace detailing. all the dress regret went away as i went back for each alteration appt and the day of the wedding I was so happy I stuck with ivory, it did not look stark white in natural lighting at all and looked great in pics.
