@cerulean_dreams:  I have found that to be a common thing here.  Can you share your dress and what you do not like about it?

Did you hate the dress when you had it on or was it after you saw all the gorgeous gowns on WB and over the net?  Sometimes I think it just takes you to put it on again to realize that feeling you had.  I’m sure you looked beautiful in it.  Do you have pics?  Maybe you need to see yourself with a veil and hair clip and your shoes to see how beautiful you look in it.  Unless, the minute you walked out of the store you thought ” oh no, I made a mistake”

I’m sorry! You are definitely not alone on this board! Can you share pics of you in your dress so we can reassure you or give you advice?

@cerulean_dreams:  Do you have a picture of it? Lots of bees on here have had dress regret, some get a new dress, and some end up falling in love with it. I think dress regret is completely normal. It’s such a big/important purchase that it can be easy to fall in love with other dresses. remember how you felt when you first put it on, first impressions are usually right, I mean you chose it for a reason. I would recommend going to try it on again. I also think that if you’re looking at it from a cellphone pic, those never do the dress justice like in person.

@cerulean_dreams:  It is a very pretty dress. What do you not like about it? I would try it on again, maybe glam yourself up (wedding day look trial), and if you still feel the same way about it go ahead and look for another dress. You have to LOVE your dress! πŸ™‚

@cerulean_dreams:  I had dress regret. My bridal salon was nice and let me exchange it! But mine was dark, dark champagne, that’s why I had dress regret. I LOVE your dress, please don’t have dress regret! I think it’s classically lovely!

I have the same feeling. The problem is that I realized this 3 months away from my wedding. I got my dress because everyone else say that it is so classic and timeless. But what I really like is something modern.

@cerulean_dreams:

I think they tend to.  If one won’t accept an exchange/return, you can always take it to another ;p  Plus, that dress is pretty new.  As long as you haven’t had alterations done, I’m pretty sure they’d take it back.

Before joining this weddingbee site, I had never heard the term «dress regret». I hear it lots on here. There are litterally thousands of different types of wedding dresses to choose from. If you and your group of 12 friends/family members liked/loved this dress on you, I think there’s credit to be given to the dress πŸ˜‰

I think it’s a lovely dress! Love how the belt is high on the waist, at the smallest part of the body. Love the rushing, the way it unwraps at the bottom, and the sweetheart neckline.

I hope you learn to love it! πŸ™‚

i had dress regret…I bought a dress way early on, our date and entire venue changed, …it was a gorgeous dress but it wasn’t me.

when I went ISO the second time I got pretty much everything I wanted and I went ALONE. I think going alone was by far the best thing I could have done.  That being said taking my mom might have been good, but she lives 13 hours away so it wasn’t an option, but if I had taken anyone it woul dhave been her.

If you don’t love it….sit on it awhile, think it over, go back and try it on, then if you decide to do it with no regrets, but def dont commit so quickly second time around πŸ˜‰
