i realize this is kind of crazy but I have to get this out there because it’s making me nuts… I totally regret what I wore to my wedding:( a little backstory…I got pregnant before the wedding and ended up dress shopping when I was about 4ish months pregnant. I’m normally very thin with boobs but even 4 months in i gained about 15 pounds and my boobs were huge. I didn’t like how I looked in almost every type of dress I tried on- sheath, princess, etc…I ended up getting a dress with a corset because I felt and was told I might not lose the baby weight and I felt like it would be safe. Fast forward to my wedding…I lost all the weight and some. And I just felt the dress was so meh. And now after the fact I have such extreme dress envy I’m still looking at what I should have worn! I know I can’t do anything and it’s not about the dress at the end of the day…my daughter is perfect and amazing and my husband is my dream come true…I don’t feel like I can say this to friends bc I feel crazy! And my husband thinks I’m nuts and tells me I looked amazing on my wedding day. Any words of wisdom or anything would help. Help! I would post a pic but I’m not sure how…

poaring from my phone do its a little tough- pics above- the back is laced up in a corset. these are se of the pics I like. I cringe looking at others. I know I don’t look terrible I just feel like something more flowy and glamorous would have been more me and I just never was all that excited about the dress…I just need to get over this feeling. i have this dumb fantasy of having a vow renewal next year and wearing something I LOVE.

@Mamaliz: omg, that dress is stunning on you. seriously, it was made for you.
i guess when you think about your day, just think about how wonderful it was to say i do as you looked into your new dh’s eyes. any less favourable moments of the day will seem less important.

@Mamaliz: First off, congratulations on your wedding!
Personally, I think the dress is incredibly flattering. It’s classic, elegant, and shows off the fantiastic figure you have. I understand that you’re not happy with the dress, and I don’t know if I have words that can make you feel any better, but you really did make a stunning bride, and I think the dress is gorgeous.
Years from now, you’ll probably look back and love the dress. At least it wasnt a poufy ’80s getup 🙂
