Both are gorgeous, but I do like the second one better!

I don’t have any of me in the dresses, but my first was Sottero & Midgley’s Adorae Louise  http://www.sotteroandmidgley.com/dress.aspx?style=JSM1379

and *my* dress was Oleg Cassini CPK421 from David’s Bridal. I was an anti-DB snob before, but I didn’t have any problems AND they do free exchanges. They have a new model on their website who makes the dress look terrible. This isn’t a great image, but it’s 100% different from my original. http://www.davidsbridal.com/images/product/return/P_12083_1_342267.jpg

Before you buy another dress, ask a seamstress if she can let it out at all around the knees.  Even letting out an inch or two there and take it in slightly at the waist will change the proportions. I think you could have it altered just enough to make it look more like you want.  No, it won’t actually become an A-line but it will not look as mermaid.  Good luck and you look great either way!

I love the 1st dress, besides the gorgeous lace, the next thing that I loved about this is the simple bow making the dress look so elegant. : ) I’m schocked that you bought a dress 2 years before your wedding, how long did it take you to find the dress?
