Blushingbride10:  Crazy, I knew I recognized that change room! I was just in WEM shopping with a close friend for her dress there the last couple of weeks! Yes, I am an Edmonton bride, less than two months to go now!!

The lace trim veil looks great with it…I think u look very pretty in it. Good choice.

Blushingbride10:  Your dress makes me feel so happy because you look great in it! The sparkles I notice in the details of the dress make it pop for one, two, it will feel so completely different once it is more your size! Three, if you really are concerned I would get a blingy belt to go with it (I say blingy belt instead of a colored sash because it would go with the details in the dress. Although I thought I would love a long veil that you have on, I would ask to try a finger tip veil with the same lace detail on the trim. The finger tip veil is a game changer, I have the same type of dress as you except it isn’t strapless and I got a finger tip veil and it sits in the perfect place for that type of dress, that dress deserves to be the centre of of attention because of the train, having a long veil would hide that beautiful train! Just a consideration but I would really try that finger tip 🙂

1) I don’t think that dress is too simple at all, it is beautiful and has unique elements. Most importantly, you look great in it.

Just my personal opinion, but you should in the gown be “enough” on the big day- not vice versa. I always think a dress looks best when peoples comments are bride-directed like “look how amazing she looks in that dress!” as opposed to “look at how amazing that dress is!” You should wear the dress, the dress shouldn’t wear you. And that is exactly what this dress accomplishes!

Love the lace mantilla veil youre wearing in the photo! It’s perfect! Depending on your wedding colors, maybe a slightly adorned satin ribbon such as champagne or blush with a tiny bit of bling! You look amazing!

Blushingbride10:  You look GORGEOUS!!! Don’t worry, accessories will finish it up nicely. I particularly love it with the lace edged veil in the first picture… What a lovely complement.

The last thing I’d say about your dress is it’s simple. How can lace be plain? You look beautiful in it and I’d leave it as it is. No belt, no adornment and a simple veil will really be all you’ll need to be perfect on your wedding day. Once you have your hair done and makeup on it will all come together!

Beautiful dress. A little alteration of snugging it around the hips and belt/sash would really take it to the next level!

Yup, classic and bridal are the words that come to my mind.  I don’t think lace is simple.  The beauty is in the texture.  All plain silk/satin is simple, not your dress.
