Needs alterations around the waist but I LOVE it and think it suits your figure. Not sure what their issue is xo

I can see why you went on your own! (I did too)

The dress is absolutely amazing – AMAZING. You look fabulous in it. And I can’t understand how anyone could possibly think otherwise.

Looks really wow to me! Your figure is phenomenonal and if you get it pulled in at the waist it will be jaw dropping on you! Bear in mind too that your hair and makeup on the day will totally elevate it too x

I’ll be honest, I think it’s a bad picture. From the front view you posted, it’s hard to make out the details, and it’s not at a direct head-on angle, so it’s harder to really see. Maybe they weren’t able to get a clear view of the dress. From the back view you posted, I think it’s stunning and fits you really well.

I absolutely HATE, yes all capitals, when “well intentioned” people criticize your choices. IT’S NOT THEIR WEDDING! Your dress is beautiful, it’s perfect because it’s what you wanted and what you chose. My future Mother-In-Law did the same thing to me 40 years ago and to this day, I still regret not buying the original dress I wanted. Don’t get me wrong, my dress was beautiful and I looked hot in it, but it wasn’t the dress I had dreamed of. Congratulations.

You look great!! If you want it to be less plain (your words), you could always jazz it up with great jewelry and shoes. But only do that if that’s what YOU want, not because someone else wants that for you.

@ninaso23:  I think it beautiful on you. It’s a little Lioose but with some alterations it will be even more perfect

This is an amateur photo of a sample dress in a bridal shop and you still look stunning in it.  Once it has been altered to fit you, it is going to be beyond amazing.  And your ‘friends’ (I can think of another word for them) and family seem to be mixing up ‘old school’ with ‘timeless and classic’.  Seriously, don’t give their comments another second of your attention – and if this is their idea of being ‘helpful’, then I’d advise not sharing any of your other wedding plans with them either.  And maybe make it one of your post-wedding goals to find some new ‘friends’ who actually act like friends.

(I ended up not showing my final dress choice to anyone, because I loved it and I didn’t want any negative numpties putting me off it!)
