terber1188: If you can afford it defintiely get the Allure, and that price to include alterations is totally worth it! To get a dress like that hemmed could easily cost an extra $200-300 alone! As for the white veil, don’t stress over it.
As part of my something old I wore my mom’s veil refinished, it was white my dress was ivory. I think it was only really noticable when it was in sunlight. I’d also be curious if today’s white is actually as pure white as my mom’s 34 year old veil! Here’s a photo for comparison.

New dress for sure!! The original is way less flattering than the new dress!

I love the allure dress! It looks great on you and that is a great deal! I’d go for it 🙂

I prefer the new dress. Personally, I don’t like the bottom of the satin dress. I think it sort of looks like a table skirt and it just falls. But that’s me! And that’s my opinion. I think that the lace dress looks much better on you and works better with your shape!

New dress is a huge upgrade in my opinion! I also got 2 dresses after major dress regret. I never really think about the lost $, I’m only happy that I didn’t have to wear the dress i hated haha

Definitely the new dress-it is gorgeous!! I don’t think the original dress does your body justice, either. New dress for sure!

the satin dress isn’t Hideous…BUT! it isn’t as stunning as the lace one, if you only spent a lil less than 400$ on the original and are ok taking a loss I would so go for the lace one!! that lace Allure dress is AMAZING! go with your heart!!! good luck!~!

You can always dye the veil with tea bags to tint it a luttle Ivory. Your veil should be a shade darker than your dress

Well…I hate to say it…but I, too, think the new dress flatters your figure and complexion a lot better than the first one. As far as the veil, I had a light gold dress and went with an ivory veil. You may want to try the two on together to make a final decision.
