I have major regret after falling in love with my drafts. The only thing that helped was honestly going back by myself to try on more to a sure I had the right dress

I agree that it’s a beautiful!

My dress was similar in some ways, with a heavily beaded top and simpler skirt. It had a short train. I started to wonder whether the top was too much, whether the off the should sleeves were the right choice, etc. However, on the day I really liked it.

As someone else suggested, can you try it on again and see how you feel about it on? Will you wear a veil?

I think that dress is beautiful. My mother loved my dress when I found it but when I went to my first fitting she said that I might need to lose a couple of pounds up top so it could be zipped up (It could be zipped up) and that made me feel really shit and fell out of love a little but, but then I reminded myself that I love the dress and felt amazing in it and basically told me to not give a flying whatsit over my mother and her comments!

laurenkate1 :  Basically the zip has to go over a seam so it is a bit sticky, the seamstress said even if I lost weight it would still stick. Mum is basically worried she won’t be abe to do me up but ppppppft whatever. When I put it on I knew it was the one and no other dress made me feel like that so I just have to try and remember that!

I wore a long plain veil, that was longer than my tiny train, so if you do decide on a veil I think that’s the way to go!

Your dress is gorgeous on you!

If you are still having doubts, though, I would go again to try it on by yourself. Could you maybe call and see when the friendlier consult is working? Try it on again and see if you can envision walking down the aisle in it. It sounds like it was just your mum’s reaction that was a bit of a bummer and I think that would have most people doubting their choice. And while most of us know it should be about how we feel in the dress, it can be hard to put other poeple’s opinions to the side.
